St. Genevieve Ushers Club
Mission Statement
A fraternal organization dedicated to serving God and spiritual sanctification of its members and parishioners to unite its members in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, while serving and supporting our parish community.
The Ushers Club sponsors several fundraising and social events throughout the year, including: pancake breakfasts; a corn roast; parish picnic; Christmas party and ushers memorial Mass.
Responsibilities are to assist the Pastor and the parishioners, which may include: greeting parishioners; assisting the handicap; assisting with seating; distribute Eucharist; distribute Church Bulletin; preparing for the next Mass; assisting the Parish family of St. Genevieve.
Monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Fr. Wolber Activity Center with the board of directors meeting at 7pm and the general membership meeting at 8pm
Who can join? Any male member of St. Genevieve Parish over the age of 21 who wants to:
* Preserve the dignity of the House of God and to assist and maintain proper order at all Church Services
* Promote spiritual and temporal welfare of our parish
* Promote fellowship and friendship
* Promote the sanctification of oneself
